I did a Michaels shop on each of my cards today and the miles have already posted so no worries about doing this offer. I split up my order into the 2 separate orders and I did $43 on 1 account and $60.82 on the other account. I had 1 on the items on the $60 order cancelled which took me to 59 something and I thought I was going to get ripped off 1 airmile but nope it posted as 3 miles.

so I just finally convinced my daughter that she needs her own Airmiles now. We've been pooling everything on mine, but we just committed to a family trip with my sis in law who is now raising her daughter's kids. I'm gathering the airmiles for the kids' flights. we have until at least November so we may be able to cover tix too. we'll see.

Her bf and my husband started accounts too, but we'll probably have to do their offers for them. it might get confusing with multiple accounts but I think we need it. she orders from Amazon and other online stores anyways because she's living near uni but in a very small town.

My niece and her husband were casualties of the fentanyl crisis. The kids deserve this.

It's simply horrifying. A lot of those residents don't have fire insurance and they're not all rich people. California has hairdressers and cooks too.

My petsmart order posted the base miles so I will get the bonus. For some reason when it do it on my computer they don't post but using my phone it works. Very odd but I guess as long as it works I am happy.

A friend who is not yet 50 had a small stroke over the holidays, she does not want visitors but I am trying to figure out what I could send her as a get well gift. I don't want to send food since she might be on a special diet or something, and flowers seem possible but not really her. Any ideas? I was thinking of a shawl blanket, I am sure she is doing physio and such but also probably resting. I am still in a bit of shock about it to be honest, she is 8 months younger than me and has always been in good health.

Did anyone who did the Orlando promo for getting 50% back on miles for travel bookings actually get it back yet?

Just trying to set my expectations in terms of timelines...

We got back last week from our 21-day visit! Highlights included:
- discovering pin trading,
- taking it slow through the World Showcase to meet the different Santas and enjoy the Biergarten/Candlelight Processional,
- seeing the fireworks and Pandora glowing at night, since the usual late fireworks time pushes our little guy too far,
- minigolf and resort hopping on Christmas Day,
- NYE dance parties on the 30th and 31st, and,
- the Kitchen Sink at Beaches & Cream!

Non-Disney highlights were visiting family and discovering Buc-ee's on a road trip. Stop there!!!

Lowlight was the exchange rate - holy moly. Bad scene. We usually do all our own food anyway because we're super frugal, but this time it was a must! Also it was super busy on certain days which added a challenge, but we packed our patience, downscaled plans, and avoided rides in favour of shows, etc.

I assume it would work, because I've done that with the Starbucks gift cards, but I thought it would be safest to ask if others have had success. Yes, I'm aware the exchange rate will still be gross.

Last I heard, Uber gift cards are country specific. They can't be used outside of the country of purchase. Unless something very recently has changed this is still true. Sorry.

I've found that Starbucks cards work in the US except at the front entrance of CityWalk (they said it's a known issue they're trying to fix).

Also Subway giftcards but you have to put them in the US app or something?
