I have a couple of screenshots to show what to watch out for. Added a real one that came today.
Notice the real one will include the collector's name, the status and the current balances.
The spam doesn't have any of that info and comes from what looks legit but isn't. The fakes were easy to spot for us because they came to hubby's business email NOT the dedicated one that's only used for airmiles

Thank you for this. I'm so sorry for your loss but I think your efforts are such a brilliant memorial to your brother. My niece was also one of the kindest people one could ever hope to meet. She was a wonderful mother and I know she would never have willingly left her children but drugs do crazy things to people. 20 Canadians per day lost to fentanyl alone.

I think we have to come up with a tribute for her too. This got me thinking...

The things he contributed to society with his beautiful giving spirit will never be forgotten.
Your post reminded me of others and today I took a bunch of baggies and filled them with personal needs items and donated them.

Happy to see Porter will be flying YOW direct to FLL and Las Vegas all year round! They already do with MCO. So happy to have direct flights from home airport. I think FLL will be daily but Vegas is three times a week. Good for crusing. Just need to figure out a trip to book.

My Condo Corp. lost their snow removal and landscaping company.
So I am hoping Shell has some salt that I can pick up Friday.

I wasn't going to bother with the Best Buy Flash offer until I looked a little closer and noticed that it's actually a CARD LINKED offer. That means all you need to do is spend $50 on ANYTHING and they have those spinning gift card towers in the stores. So, Spend $50 and get back $10 worth of Airmiles might make me willing to pop in if i end up in that end of the city.

What a great idea! I never thought about gift cards at Best Buy. I think I will do this one.

I kind of like how these BMO MC flash offers are one time use. Keeps me from over spending just to get air miles.

I totally forgot about third-party gift cards at Best Buy! I'll be getting a Sobeys one, for sure.

This is how a Best Buy online transaction posted to my credit card the other day. In this case, it was a instore pickup. It is clearly marked as a website purchase.
