How does Airmiles ship merchandise rewards these days? I have awful luck with Canada Post - they dont use them, right? I feel like the used to ship things signature required (I have a vague memory of picking up a Stand Mixer I redeemed for in 2019 at a random Quickie location!) but don’t anymore right?

Redeeming some Amazon Gift Cards via e vouchers are not working due to security issues at Airmiles.
Sat on the phone line for over an hour for my son to cash out some miles.
She said try again in 24 hrs.

My phone I got from Airmiles came via UPS courier and required a signature.
This was about a month and a half ago.
I don't know if this is done specifically for electronics or not.
I'd say call but be prepared to wait patiently,,, they are busy.

Look up the value of that ticket on the Disney site. That will be the maximum value Disney will give you for the ticket. They can give you less value (they never tell you exactly what they are worth just how much more you need to pay to get the new tickets you want). You'll need to do some Airmiles math to see what deal Airmiles is giving you.

Thanks @ottawamom, I think I’m going to pass on cashing in dream miles then, too much unknown and left to Disney to decide. I’m booked for November and have other tickets I can use and I’m not sure I’m going to go.

Undercover Tourist is another option for tickets. They can be returned unused within 365 days for a slight restocking fee. There is no need to get tickets early anymore so you have time to decide. No fastpass reservations to make 60 days out just 7 these days if you buy into the new program.

Thanks! They sent a Canpar tracking # to me last night so I pre-signed for it and clicked that they can leave it on my porch! And signed up for text alerts too. I hate missing the person at the door by 2 mins and having to pick up later!!

how do you show you're privileged and entitled? Turn down free samples and loudly complain about what's being given out, for FREE! today's union Station samples are bubbly water with added caffeine, so I grabbed these
People were upset that it's non-alcoholic today so they said, sure take as many as you want

I grabbed one of each flavour they had out. People were looking and then just walking out without taking one or handing them back

To keep this thread on topic, who else is seeing miles drop into your account and no idea which of the numerous outstanding promos they are connected to?!
here's my final shopping trip to Metro - i took full advantage of every single offer i could. Came out to around 3 miles/ $1

Off topic.

Yesterday we had to say good bye to our beloved kitty, Stewie. He was 17 and had moderate kidney disease since February 2023. He hadn't been eating the last few days and his front legs had started to go quite quickly, His hind legs had already lost most of their muscle mass from the disease. He looked like bambi on ice. Poor guy.

Now he is with his sister, Molly (passed Feb 2024 to kidney disease) and his step-brother Bruno (passed June 2021 to tumour) over the Rainbow Bridge.

Our house feels eerily quiet today. It's the end of an era of the 3 Musketeers.

Those unanmed miles are Metro I don't know why they didn't keep the logo for the posting. I posted all the new ones in my account to my spreadsheet but now I'm out of balance by 80AM. No idea what they have taken Miles away from but I'm short 80AM when I balanced 5 days ago. I think I'll leave it a few days and see if it works itself out but then I'm calling to get my 80AM back.

yeah, I know those are metro but I've got a slew that just say bonus reward miles, both in the app and online with the Airmiles logo. Not complaining, just want to get what's earned! Still need to take the time and effort to track down the rest of my 20x miles from the flash offer. now my Amazon prime day orders all shipped, and billed separately so I need to wait however long to chase those as well

Didn’t the same thing happen when sobeys and foodland left airmiles. The store logo disappeared because they were no longer a partner.

ok, now that I've had a wee rest on the couch after getting home let me try to explain better:
YES, once a store leaves the Airmiles program miles will post with that blank image box, those are all from metro. I was just bragging on how well we did the last week

what I'm questioning are miles that are posting like this, no further explanation online either. Obviously from some promo but I'm not sure which one this came from. I've had 4 back post this week, all look the same.

That one is the Dollarama Flash offer from June. I don't do nearly as many offers as some of you and that was the only one I had outstanding for that amount.

Yeah I'm a bit confused but when I clicked on it on my computer and not the APP it does say Metro Mississauga
Hopefully my last one comes through that way

Yesterday we had to say good bye to our beloved kitty,

Sending you many hugs It's hard to say goodbye to our furry friends.

It's been 3 years since we said goodbye to our dog. He grew up with the kids. I still miss him.

We won't get another pet now at this stage in our lives - as we want and do travel alot. But I could see us in our more senior years have another dog again.
