I just don't have much for Scene+ close to me. I made more than 450 AM this past month, so I did okay. I think just one entry was for a deal earlier than this month. But I'm not sure. I have months when I make less, but this was a good month. Definitely not like the Blue Deals at Foodland years ago, though, Those were da bomb!Amazing how one program works so well for one person, but not the other.
I shop at Sobeys weekly, and I hardly ever earn scene points. If they have the gift card offer, sure. But on products, hardly any. Maybe if I switched to a Scotiabank credit card with scene points I would do better?
My BMO WE AM card is still earning me on average 250 miles per month, and that doesn't include any partner offers (i.e., monthly Shell offers). AM for me is still going strong.
Once we take our big 2026 Universal trip and I use up all of my Dream miles, I will be switching to Cash miles for more flexibility on how I can use my earnings. DH's account is already Cash miles, which I cash out and put towards our all inclusive trips.
Yes, the hotel booking on AM has gone downhill. I was looking for Parksville, BC and AM had nothing and Scene+ had several to choose from. On the flipside I find collecting Scene+ points very slow whereas I earn AM faster since I have the BMO AM Mastercard.Hi ElCray
I am kind of in the same boat with Airmiles Vs Scene+
I really hoped with BMO coming on board that things would improve with Airmiles but it has just suddenly flatlined.
I love the people here on the Airmiles thread but the miles are just not producing much for me.
I will have enough earned enough Scene+ points in the next two months to pay for my DVC dues for next year (2025). Then I'll start working on a trip /extra hotel stay in Florida.UO
I don't want to give up on Airmiles just yet but
in checking for the last 5- months I am averaging 500-1000 Airmiles a month.= around $50-100$....
just not enough for a reward program for me.
I do love the availability and process to book accommodations 0n Scene+.
Best wishes planning your special trip to Japan!

There is a Shell store on Main St. in Dartmouth. Just before the McDonalds. So the shell flash offer requires 20L and in store $5? Ugh. In Halifax, we don't have shell stores. They are all needs (sobeys) stores.
