Hi there, i have been saving like mad with my airmiles to get tickets in disneyland(used them last for tickets into disneyworld)...i was very disappointed today to see that all adult tickets expire in april and they only have child ones available that run longer. We are not going until june and my youngest is now 10 and i cannot use any of my hard earned miles for entry...does anyone know if and or when they will put new rewards up for disneyland....i keep telling my husband we can do the trip for 3000 canadian, but this will bump me to 4000, much harder to sell :rolleyes2
if anyone knows how airmiles works or what they think will happen, i would love to hear, thx so much
sharon

AFAIK, they have always offered DL tickets as a reward, so if you wait until the currently offered tickets expire, you can probably get nice, fresh ones, and hopefully you'll have accumulated the extra miles to pay for the new tickets, since I'd imagine the miles cost will be going up. :rolleyes2

If you are not staying on site you could use your airmiles to pay for your hotel and or rental car . last year i cashed in my airmiles and got bestwestern dollars . :moped:

Do they take the best western dollars in the US? What's the exchange rate like?

:thumbsup2 They do take bestwestern dollars in the US I used them last febuary While visiting Disneyland .we stayed at the Best Western Courtesy Inn which is located on the back side of the disney property and only a short walk to get the parking lot tram not fancy but clean and nice pool
exchange rate was good but i cant rember what .

Personally I think a better use of your airmiles would be for flights. Have you checked out Mosaik Mastercard with the gold westjet option? Brings the number of miles needed for a flight down to just 1400 to 1600 and it is good for where ever westjet flies. We switched from Amex last year because of it and redeemed 8000 miles for 5 flights (Calgary to Orlando) and already have saved enough for 2 more flights.

Thanks for the suggestion, but we really enjoy the drive down, and choose not to fly if we don't have to. There's something almost magical about watching the seasons change through the car windows. :smickey:
