Which airlines release at 330 days? Thinking of a Christmas vacation but want to check airfare first. I would assume that those first flights released are going to be the cheapest. Someone please correct me if they have had a different experience. TIA!

The first fares released are typically not the cheapest especially on legacy airlines. Go to Travelocity and do a "flexible date" search. You can see the dates the lowest fares are valid for. This should not only give you an indication of what you might pay, but it will also show you how fare in advance the lowest fares are usually offered.

Not sure where you are flying from but we book almost 300 days in advance on direct flights at good times on Alaska from Seattle. The price has never been better since and, in fact, on average has been more than double what we paid. I know this could be a fluke but that was our experience. :thumbsup2
