We purchased our plane tickets (Air Tran) through Disney.
Question is...
We have paper tickets now, so can we still check in on-line to select our seats?
I can't really tell what our confirmation# is, and Disney said its the same as our package.
That can't be right though, because Air Tran's # is only 6 digit, and Disneys is 8 digit.

I don't believe you can check in on line with a paper ticket. I am sure their website covers this.
As to the confirmation, call the airline and ask what your confirmation number is, they will have you listed under your name.
The following passengers may not use the online flight check-in program:
Passengers with a paper ticket issued by a travel agency
Passengers traveling to international destinations
Passengers traveling with a pet
Passengers traveling as part of a group reservation with 10 or more passengers in the party
Standby passengers who do not have a confirmed reservation
Children traveling alone
I would think your confirmation number is on your paper ticket.

My flight is less than a month from now. I have the same circumstance as you. I called AirTran to ask if I would be able to check-in online. The very nice customer service rep put me on hold, then returned to tell me that I CAN'T check-in online with paper tickets. However, she offered to assign me seats for both flights right then and there, and she did it! I have my seat assignments, as well as my AirTran confirmation numbers (which I didn't have before) -- she e-mailed me all the info after telling it to me over the phone.
I've also been added to AirTran's e-mail list. My flight times have changed a few times since I bought the tickets in May -- nothing drastic, thank goodness, just 20 minutes here, 15 minutes there. Anyway, the most recent change took place after I made that call, and I got an e-mail from AirTran about the change. It was the first time I received e-mail on time changes -- the other times I found out only through a WDTC mailing, which I assume I'll still receive in a few days.
I don't know if AirTran has one call center or many. Let's hope they have just one.
because the person who helped me was SOOO nice and went out of her way, I asked her name. She gave me her first name, SHALEIKA. Yes, I asked how to spell it. The good news is, the odds of there being two different Shaleikas there are pretty long.
What can it hurt ... call back and ask if Shaleika is working, tell the person you had some prior dealings with her and that she was very helpful. WHo knows? MAYBE this might work out.
