No they will concentrating on a Gov't bailout. They will claim that their downturn is a result of the airlines reducing their flights and thusly orders. While partially true, Boeing has been bleeding money because of the Max8 fiasco even before corvid-19.

United due to announce schedule/capacity cuts of about 50%, April - May, and possibly into summer 2020. More airlines to follow.

I think that if Southwest announces similar cuts, they will either start to offer refunds on non-refundable tickets, or extend the expiration date on travel funds.

Delta is now cancelling 70% of their flights.

No one is booking flights because corporations have already restricted flying unless it is mission critical. Other travelers are not booking due to they don't if a countries that are still allowing incoming flight will change their minds. This has happened numerous times over the last couple of weeks.

Nobody wants the MAX or any other airplane at this time. Everybody who can defer orders will defer orders.

Yep, DH's United flight in May got cancelled. They rebooked him on a different flight with a layover (first was direct). I'm hoping he can get refunded his reward points back from Chase, that he booked through, and I will just book him on SW instead. Only reason he booked United in teh first place was the non-stop flight.

My Jetblue end of May flight has been canceled. I just noticed it on the website I haven’t called yet because I’m not sure how to move forward. My return flight is still there, but went from 4 flights down to 2. Since that flight is June 6, I’m not sure if I can get a credit back.

We've got a two-week non-cruise Alaska trip planned in late June, flying MIA-SEA to start. Surprisingly, that flight is still okay, but our hopes for the trip are fading fast.

Also just saw a news story that Delta has 600 grounded aircraft parked at ATL.
