I know tipping questions take on their own life on this board, but I realized after the fact that it is probably appropriate to tip the individuals at the resort airline
check-in desk. In my mind they are a step better than curbside check-in. Since it is a new service, at least to me, I didn't think about the tipping aspect,
but then realized that this is a very convenient and efficient service. Therfore, while waiting for the ME bus, I had time to rectify the situation....IE. I tipped them. Just curious what others think about this? :flower:

If they handled my luggage then I would tip. If all they did was check me in I would have to think about it.

Yes, they are a tipped position!

Recently I stayed at coronado springs resort, and I offered a tip to both the airline check-in and the people who got my bags that I wasn't checking from the luggage room, and both times the individual would not take my tip.

Techincal I believe that the airport check in staff is actually a non tipped position because they work for the airport not the hotel. Think of it this way do you tip the individual who checks you in from home. Plus for some reason I don't think they would be allowed to accept tips for security purposes
