Airline Questions

Hi everyone~ we are flying March 5 from Boston or Providence to Orlando, returning March 12, 2005. I am wondering if you know how far in advance the following airlines take reservations: Southwest, JetBlue, Song and Delta? Does Delta fly to Orlando or just their Song airline? Anyone prefer any of these airlines over another? I've only flown Delta or Song in the past but am hearing that SW can have terrific fares, but I'm not sure when to start looking for them! With SW, I think we'd have to fly out of Providence. Any help would be appreciated!! Thanks!!

Southwest ususally puts their fares out between 4 and 6 months in advance. I am not sure about Jet Blue, but I do believe Delta/Song would have theirs out now.
SWA flies out of Providence and Hartford and Manchester, NH.
SWA can have some wonderful fares, but, you will notice that a lot of times when SWA puts out good fares, Song seems to go right along with them.
I prefer SWA to any other with Delta a close second.

Delta and Song both open up at 330 days ahead. Currently, Song flies directly from BOS to MCO, while "regular" Delta does not, whiuch is fine since I prefer Song anyway.

When reserving JetBlue for my Aunt for May, the nice JetBLue lady told me the generally open up new fares about 6 months ahead of time. So if you want to do JetBlue out of Logan, you will want to start tracking their site maybe as early as July (but probly September).

SWA is not as convenient for us, as we are within 15 miles of Logan. But I believe their fares are usually out 3-4 months out. I'm sure others can illuminte this for you better tho.
