Airline Employee discounts

Me and my mom are planning a trip to Walt Disney World Feb. 2007. She works for an european airline and I read that airline employees get some discount.. Does these discounts concern also European airlines? If so, is it only for hotels or for tickets and food too? Does also off-site hotels give discount?
How can I know if the hotels give us some discount during 16th-22nd of Feb. or 19th-24th of Feb.? I live in northern Europe so it's kind of expensive to call to United States...

I know a friend of ours works for PanAm and they can stay for 1/2 price at the Disney resorts. I don't know about any other places, but thought that info might help.

My husband works in Aerolineas Argentinas (from Argentina) and also made a reservation for half the price.

Until recently I worked for American Airlines and always stayed at half off. I believe this is industry wide, not just for American carriers. It is only off the room, you can not get discounted tickets or add the dining plan. Most large chain off site hotels also offer "interline" rates, but usually not at the 50% level.

The rooms Disney offers are extremely limited so you need to be flexible with your resort choices. You'll have to either make the call to Disney to book or go through an "interline" travel agent. Your mom should know if any of these exist around where you live. Unfortunately, there is no way to book interline rates on line.

Also, be prepared - once you make the reservation you'll need to fax in a copy of your mom's ID along with a letter on her company's letterhead stating she is an active employee.

On the fax they are not looking for the ID but an actual letter of good standing. Just faxing in a copy of your ID is not good enough.
