I was told by my airline (American) that I was issued an "e ticket" and to go online to print out my boarding pass and check in 24 hours to my flight leaving. How do I do this while I am at WDW???

The lobby concierge can do it for you. You don't have to check in 24 hours in advance with American.

If you are at a Disney resort, there are certain airlines that have check in at the resort (I think American is one, but may be wrong). If you are offsite or on an airline that does not have that service at a Disney resort (like Southwest), then you will either have to find a computer to use at the hotel/resort etc., or wait to check in after you get to the airport. Most airlines now have kiosks where you can enter your name, confirmation number or credit card and check in right there and print your boarding pass without having to get in the normal check in line. I believe American does. An e-ticket just means you will not receive hard copies of your tickets in the mail like the days of old when you actually received a ticket booklet.

Disney resorts & parks will print Southwest boarding passes, I've done it. You just go to guest services (not the RAC desk).

I think any airline you don't have to check in advance, its better if you do because than you can just skip the kiosk at the airport and go right to security.

But either way the OP should be fine...

They can print your boarding pass, but they cannot check your luggage in at the resort like the other airlines.

Yes, that is correct. But with online check-in so important for Southwest (to get a low boarding #), printing boarding passes is a great service provided. I did it at City Hall at MK the last tiime.

I am flying on American and staying on prop so it sounds like i should be ok! Thanks so much...I tend to stress over the little things!
