Airfares to drop?

I read an article in Money magazine where they suggested that airfares will drop significantly in the next few weeks - they mentioned US Air specifically in this article.
Anyone out there work for the airline industry? What do you think? My concern is that the price of gas may rise yet again....
We have not yet booked our airfare to Orlando and need to do so soon. We are only travelling from Atlanta & there are so many flights from here that there has not been a pressing reason to book the flight to date. Right now - the least expensive flight from here is 180.00

they will have their normal sales as usual. there should be the normal memorial day sales and then another summer sale then 4th of july and then the end of summer sale and then labor day and then fall, then late fall then thanksgiving then winter then xmas....the list is endless. in all honesty for some reason I do feel that a war is brewing.........that means great fares!
