I am considering purchasing our airline tickest for our June trip. the prices aren't bad but could be better. What are people thinking, buy now airfare is going to go up do to Iraq or wait for possible specials? I need your advice for my peace of mind.

Are you flying outta Des Moines?

You guys get much better fares down there than we do flying out of MSP!.


Personally, I would buy now. I don't think fares are going to drop much, if at all.

Altoona is a subburb of Des Moines. Yes, DSM is cheaper than MSP. DSM is $221 on AA or NWA. I am also looking at MCI and OMA. I was hoping for $200 out of DSM maybe I will go and buy if the times are right.

Is the airfare much cheaper flying into Tampa from DSM? AA is in financial trouble according to the news today.
