Airfare to Fort Myers

Thinking of a trip to Fort Myers in Sept. anyone have experience with prices for Sept. Last time I flew done was 9/9/01. We ended up with a really good fare Boston to Fort Myers,$118.rt. We ended up stuck down there due to 9/11. The fares seem high now. Thanks

I just booked a flight from Philadelphia to Ft. Myers on USA3000. I paid $158.20 for non stop roundtrip. I don't think it was the cheapest, but the times were better than Spirit, and it was only a matter of $20 more. USAirways was over $50 more. AirTran doesn't have non-stop flights from Philly.

The Song flights from BOS to RSW are pretty high right now (~125 each way).

What we did last February, was take JetBlue to Ft. Lauderdale, and then do the drive across Alligator Alley. About 2hrs, but it's an easy drive. Very straight, very flat, VERY BORING. If you are renting a car anyway, this might be another option to look at.

I believe Tampa is also just a bit more than 2 hours or so away.
