Are flying Chicago-MCO in November, the week before T-day. Have been searaching flights for weeks now. Would prefer Ohare instead of Midway since we'ere alot closer, but I can only come up wiht non stop both ways out of Midway. I can get rt Midway for $179 including taxes--Ohare cheapest is 217 but stop over on the way back.

I'm afraid to pull the trigger and go for it! There are tons of non stop flights back but none come up in any of the flight search engines....

How many of you are flying? A $40 difference if it's just one person wouldn't be enough for me to get as far as Midway and have a stopover flight. If there's 10 of you, that's different. YOu have to consider not just the money, but the time and convenience as well.

Theres 3 of us. I think we would probably leave the car at Midway parked. It isnt just the 40/$ its also that so far can only find returns with a stopover--not non stop. Which is kind of a pain.
I did see many non-stop returns, but they dont come up as choices at all the different booking sites Ive been searching... At least not for any reasonable price...

How far are you from each airport?

I have to say I'd need to save more than $40 to add a stop! That is just me I know others dont mind, but like you said...I think its a pain.

what dates in November? There are tons of Non-stop flights between ORD and MCO.

Well you don't give exact days of flighting out but I just checked, if your willing to drive a little west to Moline, Il...Flying Air Tran from here the Saturday before Thanksgiving (Nov 21st) can be as low as $81 (plus tax)one way with one stop...to $134 non stop (plus tax)

Did you try Southwest? They fly out of Midway. I know it's the further of the 2 for you but they don't charge any fees for 2 bags pp. Factor that into the fares you're seeing.

Its 11/17--22...We are in Algonquin, so much closer to Ohare. I checked just in general for (one way) non stop MCO to ORD, which of course there are many. Ive done about 6 different flight bots, and none show a non stop for return I think until it gets pretty expensive. ( I didnt even go up that high scrolling thru the results--Im assuming non stop returns were there...).

Rockford is an option but Allegiant doesnt fly there on Tuesday. MDW is definitely farther, but the non stop return is appealing....

I just checked again and I can get non stop ORD-MCO with the return non stop to MDW. 179 incl taxes, after the $10 off sale code...Its pretty cheap really. Then we would just cab it both ways.

Anyone able to come up with anything better/similar ORD-MCO-ORD?
---ok checked again (read:read the fine print) and that doesnt include taxes , only fees, so add another 40 or so...sigh

Just another option-if you don't mind driving to MKE they have non-stop flights to MCO for $35.

Sorry-I saw it on Travelzoo but after looking again the offer expired 6/26. Southwest is new out of MKE so they may still be offering deals in the future.
