I know this isn't the right forum for this.....but for the life of me I didn't know which one WOULD be! :rotfl: It's been a very stressful week! Sorry.

Just wanted to FYI you all that AirTran and Southwest are both having a very good sale right now....for travel before Christmas....and then again in January. I saved about $500 for our January WDW trip from the prices I WAS keeping my eye on (family of 4).

Thanks for the tip. I hope some Dis-ers get some sweet deals on airfare.:earsboy:

Last week I got 5 round trip tickets for $875 from Southwest. I was sooo excited!

I got the AirTran deal today. We were looking at $1800 RT for 4. Now we're under $1100!!:cool1:

Thanks, Jazz. I already had several flights booked on AirTran, but rebooked and got the credits to my account, about $50 total. I had very low fares to begin with, but these are even a bit better. Thanks for the heads up.

You might post this also on the transportation board...

I grabbed 65 bucks each way, and now I'm going for the marathon!!!

Can I ask how you were able to get the credits? Did you call and have them adjust the cost? My flights are down $20 each way/pp from what I paid 2 weeks ago. Love to get the discount if I could but I thought you had to pay $75 rebooking fees with Airtran?

I also rebooked with Southwest this morning. My flight down went down but our flight home is more expensive that what we paid. Still, got an $84. credit!! That will help with my & the little one's flight down next October. :thumbsup2

Yes, just call AT and they will give you a credit, has to be used in one year or it goes away. On a repricing because of fare drop, they do not charge the $75. If you have assigned seats, make sure they reassign them after the reprice. You will get your $40 plus tax put into your account for a future trip. Just make sure to use it.

Darn it! We booked with Southwest for Dec. 15th, but the sale ends on the 14th.

So I explained to DH tonight that the price difference with the airfare and the fact that I booked more TS restaurants than we had free credits for, and if we left a day earlier we wouldn't have to pay OOP for one of the restaurants, it would be like we were getting a free night at WDW! So he said Okay, let's do it.

So I called WDW right at 10 pm tonight and got through, and rebooked our flights so now we're staying 7 nights instead of 6!:cool1:

I was also able to book 'Ohana tonight and got CRT a couple of weeks ago!

The credits thing is confusing to me, but we scored a great deal this morning on Delta tickets for Thursday, Jan 12. We're taking a red-eye from ATL to MCO and got them for $45 each... including tax. INCLUDING TAX. I love sales. :thumbsup2

We haven't booked our return trip yet but we're coming back on MLK day and I've little hope at finding anything less than $140 a seat for that one. Still, better than the $140 a seat each way it initially was!

This thread got me looking at flights again tonight, and after much decision, we're rebooking our ENTIRE trip to the week after. Darn Superbowl is messing with our return flight prices - $65 to fly out to Orlando, but $219 to fly back home! The week after, it's $65 each way!

Good news is that I'm gaining a day at WDW. (Arriving on a Thurs instead of a Fri in order to get free dining.)

Bad news is I have to rebook every single one of our ADRs. :headache: Bright side... I have one more table service, so I get to pick another restaurant! :goodvibes

Now, I just have to wait until Resort reservations opens in the morning to change our itinerary, then I'll buy my airfare when I get to work (thanks, work!) and then I can start on ADR's tomorrow night after DD goes to bed.

Ugh - It's like starting my planning all over again, after 6 weeks of having it booked... but I LOVE it!

I have been only going jet blue for the past 4 years. Most of the time you can find the lowest price. If its not the lowest its worth the little extra for more room and the tv. :thumbsup2

I can't get the credit because I booked it thru Expedia. I guess I won't be making that mistake ever again.

So say I schedule now (RT currently through AT is $252 pp) and these deals become available for my dates/flights...I can just call AT and they will refund to my CC the difference in price?

Thanks for any help! I'm hoping I can get better than $252 - that's a little pricey for us!
