Can anyone give me an idea of what my airfare cost might be from Toronto to Disney? Two adults two kids, October if it makes a difference,

Thanks!

I don't know about October, but....

We just flew Sunwing (non-stop) from Toronto to Orlando on January 10th and returned on January 16th.

For our family of 3, total cost was $1073 taxes included.

Hot sandwich, drinks, and small snacks (pretzels, chocolate, etc.) served on both flights.

Departures from Buffalo or Syracuse were quite a bit cheaper, but we didn't want the extra drive in the winter in case weather was a factor. Plus, there's our terrible exchange rate to consider. :crazy2:

My family of four is flying Southwest in April from Buffalo for $660.80 usd.

October is not out yet but flying out of Buffalo is a much better deal than Toronto.

We went last Oct. and we paid $300.00 each ($900.00 for the 3 of us)from Toronto with Westjet. Just keep watching the prices. No need to book yet.

I found this great website last night.

www.farecompare.com

It gives historical data for the past two years on ticket prices.

For example, I am watching for tickets to LA from Buffalo. On that site I enter the cities I'm traveling to and from and it shows a graph with how low and high rates have gone btwn BUF and LAX in the past two years.

I also like www.airfarewatchdog.com for watching ticket prices. I live in Buffalo and I keep seeing tickets to Orlando for about $125 (American) r/t. I haven't paid attention to the dates though.

Check out Jet Blue out of Buffalo! its SOOOO much cheaper!

Southwest is what we used last year in Sept. Family of four from Buff to Orlando non-stop return for just over $800 us. But even beyond the cost, Buffalo is SOOOOO easy!!!! you don't have to worry about immigration because you just did it driving over, parking is cheap and they always have a coupon on the airport's website...the airport is small and quiet and I love Southwest's service...no meal but so nice and they love kids and are used to the trials and tribulations of flying with little ones...they always have our stroller ready for us when we debark..it's open waiting at the door....that's just the little things that parents need to make a smoother trip...

I'd recommend checking out tripcentral.ca They have a cheap charter link at the bottom right of their homepage with great deals from toronto to orlando....the price is a return fare and includes all taxes.

I just went on farecompare and I didn't see the graph that you mentioned. Were do you find it?

I'm not a big fan of airfarewatchdog. I've never had any success with it. Even when they have shown fares to my destination they were not available.

I've seen tonnes of Air Canada flights for $99 each way surprisingly!

Quite right. The only problem is the taxes of $200+.

If you fly from Buffalo the taxes are about $30 roundtrip. You can commonly find fares of approx. $70 one way. If you hit it right you can get roundtrip tickets for $125-$150 incl. tax. Not to mention that the park & fly in BUF is about $40 for a week and you could walk from your car to the terminal.

these are great prices from the east coast, does the west coast every see deals like this???

Can't speak for Oct..but I have booked a few trips to MCO for Feb, March and April with Air Canada and paid $314 to $357 return. Suits me! Close to home, I use the Maple Leaf Lounge and it's all pretty easy!

I have been tracking Seattle departures for my month (Sept) still a little high at 318 return. I am waiting it out in hopes that the $199 return will carry over past June

We paid $312.00 each (that's with taxes included) for Air Canada from Toronto to Ft Lauderdale (we are going to Key West - March Break) That was $98.00 each way so there are deals to be had in Canada. There is no way I am driving to Buffalo in the winter time to catch a flight. That's just me....no matter what the savings.

Totally agree!:thumbsup2
Having had to dig out my ice encapsulated car last Feb from the Parking lot in Buffalo I will not fly from Buffalo again in the Winter months. It was awful...Had I not had automatic start to my car I am sure we'd still be there trying to get into it! Once we were in, we waited 20 mins or so and then the wipers snapped off! Were it snowing or freezing rain, we would not have been able to make the drive home. Our weather is awful but there's is often so much worse.

:thumbsup2 and usually when we get home from a trip the LAST thing we want to do is drive 2 hours home..............so that is why I search for the best deal from Toronto.
