Airfare Prices?

When we went in September we paid $1700 to fly CanJet. Air Canada wanted $2100.

That was for all 4 of us, charter of course.

So how much do you normally pay?

We haven't booked yet (going in May) but I'm planning on spending no more than $1000 RT for 4 of us (out of Buffalo that is, costs way to much to fly from Toronto),

We flew out Thurs Aug 23/07 and returned Fri Aug 31 via Southwest from Buffalo - grand total was $710 US (less than $800 Cdn) for all 5 of us.

We're flying out of buffalo in less than 2 weeks and it cost us about $750.00 for the 4 of us!

we paid 843.16 for 4 flying AirTran out of Buffalo !!
it was more then double that flying out of Toronto.
this will be the second time we fly out of Buffalo and loving it.

in 05 I paid $375 for 5 of us round trip, in 06 I paid $789 for six of us, all out of Buffalo and in USD.
Flying out of Buffalo saves SO much money and I like that it is a smaller and easier airport than Toronto too.

Gonna book early next week, and the cheapest I could get was $1200 for 3 from Winnipeg with 2 stops each way with NWA. Westjet and Tango were both $2100. Might see if I can fly from Grand Forks ND.

We just paid $1600 RT from Winnipeg for end of January with NW. Cheapest we could get without going across the border. Far cry from Westjet & A/C prices!!

Okay Buffalo just isn't an option -- it is costing us $1400 and change for four of us to fly this January out of Ottawa.

There are flights out of Syracuse to Orlando for $99.00 each way or approx $238.00 return including taxes. With our dollar at a premium to the US dollar it's a great savings. My sister flew out of Syracuse last March and saved big bucks compared to Ottawa.

Spirit airlines always have web deals. Last year we flew out of Detroit for $49.00 each way at the end of January.

DH and I drove 5 hours to go through Syracuse this summer (long story). I loved the airport! And Jet Blue is great! If I lived in Ottawa, I'd certainly look into this option. Whatever you decide, I'm sure that you'll have a terrific time!

This is my first post. Hubby and I are going to DisneyWorld in Dec. This will be our first trip to Florida and our first trip without the boys.

We are flying North West Airlines out of Edmonton AB. Our flights cost $342 each - return, including taxes.

I am looking for April 19 to May 3 out of Buffalo and so far the cheapest I have found is 278.8 each- =1115.20 for 4 of us- am I missing something or is it just to early to get the better deals-
