Airfare prices.... end of November

We are thinking of going to WDW the Monday after Thanksgiving. Does anyone know if most people, who travel during thanksgiving, come home that weekend, or is Monday still a popular time to fly? I was curious if airfare goes up the closer you get to thanksgiving, and will it be more that week versus the next week in December, or doesn't it much matter. I am trying to decide if I should wait awhile to buy the tickets or get them now in fear that they might fill up. In the past I have noticed (flying at non holiday times) that the better deals have come for us the closer it is to when we leave. Just wondering if anyone has any experience or opinions. Thanks
