Airfare is driving me CRAZY!

Looking for flight out of IND to MCO for 8/13-8/20. It seems as if all early morning flights are booked, unless of course you want to pay an big price. More concerned about early flight in than flight outbound time, but really don't want to leave 6:00am on last day. Any suggestions? I know Southwest is booking through Aug now and flight out is great time ($79), but return flight okay. Should I book one way on Southwest and wait to get return ticket at later date? I would just like to get it all booked!!!!!

Never had a problem booking flights for Aug in May everytime we went, but they all seem to be booked for good times. What's up with that?

If you fly down saturday, you can get morning flights both ways for $182, returning either sat or sun. That puts you outside of free dining, though. If you fly monday to monday, you've got tons of (mostly connecting) flights to pick from at $205 or under RT.

We're flying on 8/12 - 8/19 on Delta from Newark to MCO ($166 rt)...Same boat as you....dining package starts on 8/13. We'll just get a room for the night of 8/12 on a different ressie...so we don't screw up the free dining...We don't arrive in MCO until 10 pm....Our flight out is 7:00 am, would have preferr ed 9-10 am, but we also have a 3 hr drive once we get back to Newark (noon). So we're good with that.....
