Hi everybody!

A friend and I were thinking about going to Disney for spring break, and I would love recommendations on airfare. I've never flown (!), so I am only family with taking the train to Florida. We would want a nonstop flight from Philly to Orlando Intl.

Who do you think is the best airline to Orlando?
What's a reasonable price for round trip fare?
Any airline to absolutely avoid?

Thanks so much for your help!

You should post this on the transportation board, and you'll get more replies. But if you are going at Spring break time, the flights will most likely be higher. Check out Southwest and see if they fly from there. Alot of people find good rates with them.

Southwest flys out of Philly nonstop and you can get a good price. Air Tran also flys nonstop out of Philly and they also have good prices. US Airways is the only other one that flys nonstop but usually have higher fares.

I second Southwest, I'm not crazy about Philadelphia airport, but they do fly from there, so we frequently make the trip over from Jersey. There prices are usually good, and bags are free. Good luck! (another option might be to look into Lehigh Valley international airport. They offer Airtran, and allegiant which offer some good fares, but the extra fees can add up quick)

And with Allegiant (which we fly out of Toledo alot) does not go to MCO,so you will need to rent a car.

From Philadelphia try Airtran or Southwest. We fly Airtran often.....love it!

Out of Allentown, effective 2-8-10, they no longer go to Sanford, only MCO. It was great....saved me $$$ of a one way car rental!
