Airfare after Thanksgivivg?

In your opinions, when do you think I'd have a better chance of getting a good airfare out of Milwaukee? Is it going to be high throughout Thanksgiving weekend?
We could depart any day Thanksgiving weekend or we would depart Dec 1-3.

My experience is that you would do better with the Dec. dates. Thanksgiving weekend is one of the busiest for the airlines. While there are sometimes some decent fares available, they're few and far between.

Last year out of PIT fares were lowest following the Monday after Thanksgiving. Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend was a bit higher but not bad at all. Sunday of Thanksgiving weekend was outrageous.

If you want to travel closer to Thanksgiving, just keep an eye on things - we've gotten very good airfare (out of MSP) by flying on the Friday after Thanksgiving. Sometimes there are good fares for the Saturday as well. Bet you'll find the same thing out of Milwaukee (or even Chicago if you are open to flying out of Midway or O'Hare).
