We are planning a end of April Disney trip and found tickets For 90.00 one way from Rochester Ny to Florida. Any thoughts if that price will go down or should I book now?

I'm sorry that I have no idea of prices from your airport specifically. However, if I saw prices like that from my airports (milwaukee or chicago) I would jump on them. I would be very happy with $90 each way.

I would book them in a heartbeat! Tickets from Baltimore to Orlando are way higher than that....

Personally I think that's a great price. Not knowing which airline, though, might change that.
If it's Spirit, by the time you pay for bags, you might end up paying more overall.
We fly Spirit but usually to dmom's Florida house so we ship clothes or send them home in the car when she drives home.
YMMV

It is southwest. They recently came to our airport since they bought airtran. We use to fly out of Buffalo. Thanks now trying to talk dh into buying now.

Book now. We fly out of Buffalo and assuming those are non-stops you aren't going to see much better than that IMO. We are VERY happy when we can get the four of us there and back for around 800 and I watch like a hawk. We paid 1200 for 5 of us in August and 850 for 4 of us in May.

Coming from Detroit I jump at anything under $100 each way, but it does vary by market so I don't know if the same rule of thumb would be appropriate for you.

Those are great prices!

If they go down, you can always get a credit!

Congrat's on the score!!!!

I always book SW (got $89 each way from BUF this time!) because you can change your tickets to the exact same tickets for no charge and bank the difference. I constantly check back to see if the prices have dropped and exchange our tix if it does. Love SW!!!

Rochester is only an hour or so out of Buffalo and the prices are usually comparable. That's why I said grab them. Lowest I have seen for this trip out of Buffalo was 120 for a non stop and 90 for a long flight with a layover. 90 is definitely worth grabbing from here.

We are also flying out of Rochester this time due to the great pricing, but your prices are much better than mine! Buy up. One thing I noticed when I bought was Tuesdays price was better than Wednesday, I waited & it ended up costing me $19/ticket. I would jump on it!

Hope the price will be the same tomorrow as we need to finalize the dates with our other family members just to be sure everyone is still planning on going that week.

I'd definitely snatch them up. Southwest Airlines has severely raised their ticket prices where a flight from SAT to MCO would cost $89 - $109 to $159 to $250.:mad::mad::mad: After they bought out their competition (Airtran) they've done nothing but shoot up in price and service has remained the same. I now pretty much fly with anyone else as their fares plus baggage fees cost significantly less than Southwest w/o bag fees. #SAD:guilty:

At least you have something cheaper. It seems like here all the airlines are sharing their prices - Delta, Airtran, SW, and Spirit (once you add in the fee for one bag; I'd go carry-on only with the others) are all within $2 of each other for my dates in April, at $100 more than I've ever paid in the past. :badpc:

I would jump on those tickets!! We almost always fly Southwest out of Albany and for our trip last August, Southwest about 3x that price. They were crazy high last year. We are right in between Albany and Syracuse but would make the drive to Rochester for $90 tickets!

The best deal I've EVER gotten from JFK is $200 round trip.

If you can still get that airfare, grab it right now!

I would love to see $90 with Southwest. I would book YESTERDAY!! :rotfl:

My dates are 7/17 to 7/27 out of Philadelphia. My lowest prices are $136 each way. I prefer a later return time so I dont have to leave Florida at the crack of dawn. Those flights are $151 :furious: Over the past couple of years, I have tried other airlines. Sometimes flying back on Airtran since they had a more desireable return time. I have now learned to wait it out a little. Because Southwest always came down to a cheaper rate after I already bought my tickets. However, Airtran isnt a bad deal even with the baggage fees. I get to choose my seat and dont have to worry about boarding position. Sometimes less stress helps on the return trip home. ;)

The last time we flew (2009) was Airtran Rochester to Orlando and that's what we paid booking out several months. So yes I would as you will be paying about what I did 4 years ago!
