Anyone use it?
If so, doe's it work?
Have you ever given it to a child (Airborne Jr)?

I am thinking about using it for our trip next month before we get on the plane going and coming home. Any info would be helpful. Thanks! :)

Lots of heavy travelers I work with swear by it. I used it once when DH was getting a cold. I didn't end up getting sick. Give it a try.

I used it on trips to WDW and another plane trip. I use the lemon-lime flavor with gingerale. I generally pick up a bug in WDW (and got a nasty one in DLR), but I didn't this time. However, as always, correlation does not equate causation.

I have used it several times when I felt a cold coming on, and I never got the cold. I also used it when a cold started, and the cold was completely gone in three days (where it usually lingers on and on).

I've used it, and avoided the cold. My DS has also used it, but that was before the Airborne Jr version. He just took the half a tablet dissolved in water, as recommended on the package for his age (10 or 11, at the time) and it worked great for him as well.

The lemon-lime flavor is not bad. Fizzy lemonade, but the orange flavor was kind of icky.

I bought it for our first trip to WDW in 2004 and love it. Since then We use it at the very first sign of a cold coming on and none of of has had a cold until last week. My fault though, I let myself run out of Airborne so I couldn't take it as soon as I needed to.

Traveling in the cold season I would take one tablet before getting on the plane and again after arriving at your hotel. It really is a great preventative.

Note, If you don't use it AS SOON AS you feel the slightest cold coming on it doesn't really work all that well.

Just looked it up and it has aspartame...why did they put that in? For me, it's a migraine trigger.

Yes, I have a DSis that travels all the time with her job..she swears by it.

And my DS and his DGF use it all the time whenever they feel a cold coming on..they swear by it.

I think I am going to get some now that you have posted this Thread. :thumbsup2

Thanks for the replies! I was looking at Walgreens and for $6.99 a box I thought I would ask first. I think we are going to try it.

I use it when I start feeling a bit bad. I don't know if it works or if it's all in my head, but it seems to. When I went to London last spring, I used it daily 4 days before my trip and 4 days before coming home. I had heard that it helps with jet-lag and I think it did. I really had no issues, other than being tired on traveling days. It's worth a try.

Oh, and I agree that the orange flavor is yucky!

We use it every time we go on vacation and we haven't gotten sick yet.

Orange is yucky? Figures, we just bought that.
Someone said they mixed it with gingerale, maybe if I mixed it with Sprite it would be better?

What exactly is Airborne? I'm taking the kids on vacation next month and from what I'm reading about germs on planes, I'm a little worried. Especially since it's flu/virus season.

I like it. I seem to be the only person in the world who enjoys the orange. SillyMe, Airborne is a tablet that you disolve in water and drink down. It's pretty much a super dose of vitamins and such.

It's like a flavored Alka Seltzer tablet, but has natural ingredients that are supposed to help you fight off a cold. Was invented by a teacher, and not recommended for those women who are expecting.

Is it strictly for colds or does it help prevent flus and stomach viruses?
