Ok - this man was coughing non-stop on the train this morning. :crazy2: Really bad. :scared: I moved to another car as soon as I could (at the next station). I couldn't hold my breath long enough, though. :faint:

So I ran out and got Airborne as soon as I got to work and just took the first one.

Does anyone have any experience using this? Will it work? :confused3

Thanks for any comments!

I've used it twice for myself and once with ds10--started taking it the minute we felt cold symptoms coming on, and our colds were *much, much* milder, literally only lasting for like 1 1/2- 2 days, with just some sniffles and a little cough. I'll be keeping Airborne in our medicine cabinet from now on--I know it won't work for things like bronchitis or flu, but it worked like a charm for our basic colds. :thumbsup2

I know several people who SWEAR by it.

Take it right away and keep taking it until you better is what they say.

Hope it works for you.

I'm another one who has had luck with it - whether I wasn't going to get a full-blown cold with or without it - I'm always glad I took it!

I most positively feel it works -

Only mind sniffles since finding the stuff. :thumbsup2 Make sure you follow directions and take it every (what is it?) 3 hours?

We have used it several times and while we may still get a little sick, it is definately not as bad and we usually recover much faster.

Not only would I start on the Airborne right now, but if you regularly take the train (or any other public transport), I would be using it every day as a preventitive measure.

I've never tried it - but I do know folks who swear by it.

I did catch just a bit of one of those investigative news reports on it the other day. They were not convinced.
Something about inflated claims that are now being removed from the packaging and non-existant addresses when they tried to check up on the double blind studies that supposedly took place.
:confused3

Good Luck - I hope it works for you!

I use Airborne whenever we fly. My husband doesn't take it and usually is the one who ends up with the cold!!! I'd rather be "safe than sorry".

I have used it twice with great results.

I was getting a terrible cold on my way to France. My seat mate gave me a tablet, and my cold was completely gone in two days. I couldn't believe it!

I also used it when it seemed like everyone in my office and family were getting sick. I didn't even get the sniffles.

Good luck!

I am another one who swears by the power of Airborne! :thumbsup2 But don't just take it once - continue taking it, even every day if you are on public transit.

Good luck!

Jill
