Airboat Tour

I haven't been, but would like to go on it also. Hope someone has some info.

Seems like you're paying a premium for the free pick up and drop off. My guess is that a good hour of that 3.5 hours will be taken up going and coming.

Boggy Creek is good. The operation at Midway has been revived. That's on the St. John's River and has, for my money, the most varied scenery and wildlife opportunities.

Unfortunately I will not have a car, so the only way to make the trip is to schedule a tour with hotel pick up and drop off.

The more that I read about these tours, the more excited I become. I was scheduled to take an airboat tour in 2005, but the tour was cancelled because the operator's boat license expired and the Coast Guard was too occupied with Katrina-related disaster relief to make the necessary inspections for renewal. I was disappointed, but saving people on the Gulf Coast was much more important than entertaining the likes of me!
