I have a friend leaving on Nov 2 and her doctor has advised that her son MIGHT have H1N1. Tests are still underway. Now they absolutely have planned to cancel the trip - no question. His health is the most important, not to mention anyone he might come into contact with.
The issue is that without travel insurance and since the trip is only a week away, I think she might be outof luck with re-booking for another time - she is quite prepared to pay the additional fee to re-book. Has anyone ever had any luck re-booking on such short notice? with the H1N1 being so prevalent these days, do you think this might even be possible?
