Since Airtan only has 1 direct flight out of BUF to MCO, has anone experienced any changes in time with this flight? In Oct, it leaves just after 12:00 which is perfect! Currently, it is only $59pp as well, which is much better than SW which is over $100pp!

I booked a couple of months ago for our Aug trip. Our flight was also the only direct of the day. It started out at 10:37am. Last check it is now leaving at 4:55pm. I think they have changed it a total of 5 times since I booked and I still have almost 3 months to go. I did however take advantage of the changes and switched the flight to the day before. I was pretty upset about basically losing our first day and managed to convince DH that he could do without us for another night.

That is exactly what I am worried about. Airtran making the departure time later and later, and in turn losing our first day. I think we will hold out and wait on SW....maybe get a decent DING sometime throughout the summer.

i checked my upcoming flight and they has prolonged take off for 6 hours, i booked in Feb for a nonstop leaving Aug 23 at 10:30 am arriving in Orlando at just after 1pm very upset that now its showing its not taking off until 430pm arriving just after 7pm, i've now lost 6 hours of my first day in Disney

I just realized we were on the same flight. I switched mine to Saturday, the 22nd, because of the time changes.

Glad to see people here have had positive experiences with AirTran. We've flown with them once before to Tampa from Buffalo but that was 3 years ago, never had a problem then, even with a connection. I keep reading horror stories about them.

We flew to Myrtle Beach last Sept with Direct Air out of Niagara Falls & it was by far the worst experience ever, I will never, ever fly with them again. Delayed flight home by 4 hours that no one notified us of. Even when we checked in no one said anything until we got to the gate & saw the time on the screen. I had a sick 2 year old & was very angry.

I know it's no frills & have no problem with that, has anyone flown recently with them out of Buffalo & had problems? We're booked to leave Sept 26 at noon, non-stop to MCO.

We Flew with them last September and had no problems. Our flight times were changed a few times before we left, and to our surprise going home from Orlando our Flight was changed to a direct flight, which was great.
We were able to do all our check-in and seating in the Disney resort which was great. The staff and flight were very nice and no delays at all.
Only thing I hate is that drive back to Toronto after a holiday.
