Air Tran October Fare Watch

"Inspired" by the rabid SW fans & thier fare watch, how about an AirTran Fare Watch?

Got to be lots of Wendy's Vouchers burning holes in pockets.

Can't remember when the last fare dates were released - did anyone take note of it?

Fares are out to October 4th...Hope they don't wait until next month for the rest of October. Know I booked my dates for June a little shy of 7 months out.

I need October 7 & October 15th - what do you need?

The recent fare release was some time early Saturday morning (2/25). They only opened up dates from Sept 6 through Oct 4, so I too am hoping the next release is soon....

I will post, as I am sure you will, as soon as they release them...... of course after I have booked my flights using my Wendy's credits, LOL!

I just booked through airtran-- sept 16/24th @ 177.00 pp

i know that sounds high compared to the DING specials etc- but i am always freaked out that i might wait to long and not get a flight! i flew airtran before and i am a A+ member (just got my card) and i really had no porblems with my flight the last time.

i chose the "web special" that states the fare does not offer advance seat assmt. you may select your seats upon check-in for your flight.

i called airtran and they told me i can choose my seats when i check in online 24 hrs prior to my flight.....

i guess thats a good deal who knows??

I am needing flights in the middle of December. I check everyday to see how far ahead they are booking.

Price doesn't sound too bad to me...I wasn't impressed w/the SW fares just released from PIT to MCO. Of course, the Dings may be another story.

I ran into black out dates on AT vouchers for June (18th & 25th). Had to adjust trip.

I was hoping to snag a Ding for June and re-use the AT vouchers that I redeemed. I'd have to rebook the vouchers before mid-March...not holding my breath that the new round of AT's will be released by then.

I do like AT & usually have fairly good luck securing voucher'ed travel, even if I have to initially purchase a tix or two for our party. The other tix always open up for us & we save the tix credit for next time. BTW, I've yet to have to pay a change fee.

I'm waiting on the return leg to open up! We leave September 30th, and since they are only out until October 4th, I can't do anything until October 8th opens up! Well, I could buy a one way, so we'll see what specials pop up.
Airtran is running a sale right now...per email I received...
