Air Miles 7 day flex tickets

Should I hold out any hope for 7 day tickets reappearing or just buy the 5 days and upgrade at the parks? My trip starts on Dec 12th. The 5 day flex tickets are 5995 air miles and valid for arrivals through Dec 31.

I know there is no way of knowing for sure, just wondering what is likely. Thanks!

I bought the 5 day flex tickets because I was scared that when the 7 day tickets are restocked it would be more AM. We are planning to upgrade our tickets to APs in November and when comparing the "price" of the 5 day flex ticket and 7 day flex ticket, there was very little difference ($20 - $30).

The other thing to consider is that with the 5 day ticket, you will only be able to make FP selections for 5 days.

How much does Disney value Air Miles tickets when upgrading to higher day totals (or park hopper)?

My experience is that the Airmiles 7 day and 5 day flex tickets are not the same as the ones Disney currently offers (Airmiles confirmed this before my trip, YMMV). I used an Airmiles 7 Day flex at Disney in May as soon as they came available and it was valued at $469 USD after tax. Your experience may differ, I have been waiting for others to post their experiences at Disney guest services but so far have not seen any other posts. So I would imagine, an Airmiles 5 day flex ticket will give you around a $450 USD after tax credit to an upgraded ticket on Dec 12. Once others post, this can be confirmed or adjusted.

Are you Onyx? I did a Personal Shopper quote, 8900am for a current 7 day flex ticket, you could request a quote for a 7 Day non flex which should be less. I suspect when Airmiles has the next batch of Disney tickets available, the 7 day flex will be closer to 8900am than the current out of stock 7 day flex that was 6400am, unless by some very small chance Disney comes out with Canadian tickets in the fall. And unfortunately this is all "wait and see" as to what Airmiles will be able to offer next.

You have time on your side, Dec 12 is another 5 months.

I got an Onyx personal shopper quote for 7 day flex tickets and it was 8,866 air miles.
5 day hoppers for my specific dates were also quoted as being 8,133 air miles.

I'm not seeing the 5 day flex tickets available through the site this morning.

Thank you for posting the quotes. Doing the math, your 5 day hoppers, $571.35USD on Disney's website, are 14.23 airmiles per USD which is on par with personal shopper quotes on the airmiles thread.

Sounds like they just sold out of the current tickets, occasionally they come back for a few days likely after doing a final count of tickets sold. The good news is that new ones will hopefully be posted soon which will help you decide.
