Air mattresses?

this is a really stupid question. And I wasn't exactly sure where to post it. We are a family of five. ME DD 21, DD 20(her b'day is AT Disney!) DD 18 and DS (poor boy) 13. I have two rooms at POFQ...therefore...four beds. Problem is four beds...five people. (spoiled, I know!) would it be wrong to bring an air mattress, blow it up at the hotel...and just be sure it's out of the way when we leave in the morning? Like stand it on its side against the wall? My son says he wants to sleep on it. It's still only the five of us...in two rooms...do you think Disney would have a problem with that? (I'm always paranoid about doing something "wrong" TIA

I don't see as to how it would be a problem. 5 people in two rooms is still under the occupancy limits.

We do it all the time. Our daughter brings her air mattress and sleeps on the floor between the beds or near the door. We just pick it up off the floor and put it between the bed and the wall during the day.

We do this at Disney and other hotels that don't have queen beds.

I had called wdw and asked this becouse my boys dont like to sleep together. They said it was fine and a lot of people do it. One older child and one younger, or a boy and a girl. Have a great time.

You say your staying at POFQ, most rooms have trundle beds there. You may not need to use the air mattress at all and use the trundle. Just make sure you've reserved a room w/ one.

However, the trundle beds are smaller than the traditional twin-size bed. So it might be a little cramped for someone who is near adult-size. Younger/smaller kids seem to have no problems with trundle but I know that I wouldn't want to spend a week on one myself. And my DS14 was close to me in size when he was 13.

The boys deflated the aerobed each day before they left though. It was very simpled to inflate and deflate though. My other sister left her air mattress inflated each day though and also had no problems (we were a grand gathering of 16 in 5 rooms).

This is true... and something I wouldn't think of. We're all height challenged over here!

I love all three of our Aero Beds!! They are so easy to inflate/deflate as well as store.

I'd love to do a rollaway bed! but I thought I read somewhere that they didn't do rollaways? If they do...that would be great.

and thank you all of you..I'm so excited I might cry! (all the enchanted calls to my kids have been made already! I couldn't wait! mind you they are 21, 20, 18 and 13! I also picked up 200 dollars in disney dollars today that they dont know I have for them...50 bucks each...after that they're on there own!!!!) well....at least thats what I always tell myself

I hope you all have an awesome trip!!! I've been taking my niece to WDW since she was 7, and she's 23 now!!! It's still a blast when they're adults!

We have used a roll away bed a couple times at the moderates. They are $16.50 a day. Values do not offer roll aways. Our last trip we went to Target and bought a blow up mattress for 10.00. It was great because it had an attachment so that you could use the hair dryer to blow it up in just a couple minutes. We have used it several times since. When we checked in we asked for extra blankets and pillows and then in the morning we would put the mattress under the bed or against the wall.
