Air mattress or roll away in POFQ?

There will only be 4 of us in the room, but we don't all fit into 2 double beds anymore!

My DS is 14....5'9" and 165 lbs (but not fat at all...wears 29" jeans). He will most likely be the one on the extra bed....

Anyway, will an air mattress fit on the floor in POFQ? If so, what size? And do any of you have a recommendation to what kind?

Or can (or should) we get a roll away bed? Does it cost extra if there isn't an extra person?

Thanks!

I'd like to know too. We are staying at POR soon and I was thinking about bringing a twin size air mattress.

I know you can get a roll-away, because I asked about it for our trip in November. Yes, they do charge for the roll-away, I can't remember for sure, but think it was 15.oo or 20.00 a night. I do have a aero-bed that I am bringing to blow up. We have used it several times and it works out well. We have 2 teens, a boy and girl, so we found it necessary to have it.

Okay, so if there's room for a rollaway, there'll be room for an air mattress. HAS to be, just makes sense! It's been a while since I've been in a Moderate room, but probably it'll fit near the window.

I used an air mattress at Carribbean last year and it fit fine. As a bonus, the beds were high enough that the mattress we had completely fit under the bed during the day.

We fit a queen sized air bed between the bed closest to the door and the door. It was tight because the entrance is offset but doable. Unfortunately we were unable to slide it beneath the bed, they sit on platforms. Just propped it against the wall during the day with no problems.

We have 2 boys, 15 & 21, that have not slept in the same bed on vacation for years. We either get a roll away or use an air mattress. When we stayed at POFQ in June we got a roll away for out 15 year old son. The cost was $16.50 a night. The only place it fit was right beside the closest bed to the door. When you opened the door it hit the bed but not bad enough that it was a problem. My son said it was really comfortable. You could put an air mattress in this same place or even between the two beds if it is not to wide, and put it against the wall during the day. It might even slide under one of the beds. Our next trip we are going to take an air mattress and save the $ we spent on a roll away. We bought a $10 mattress at Target last week to take. It blows up with a hair dryer in about 5 minutes and seems very comfortable.

Thanks for all the replys! I think we will take a blow-up air mattress. :sunny:
