I've never priced air from WV before. Is $260 pp good? This isn't for travel till October so I have time to wait if it's not.

Thanks!

I am from WV and have found that Independence Air (flyi.com) has some pretty good deals. However, we found the best deal for our May 2005 trip by flying Delta out of Dayton, Ohio - $156.00 round trip. We will have to drive to Dayton, but it will be worth it for the savings.

Hi there,
I am from the charleston area, and used to be a res. supervisor for an airline. $260 is a mediocre fare right now from CRW. I've seen a lot higher, and a bunch that were lower, as well. I've done priceline, and hotwire when our flights were booked, and I knew that I could not use passes and got tix on another airline for 150 less than what our flights went for.

Driving to another airport as Gale suggested is an option, but for me it depended on how many people were going, time involved, etc. If I were going by myself it would not be worth 3.5 hrs travel each way, gas, parking to save $100. If I were paying for 5 tix, it would be "load up the car, kids, were goin' for a ride!"

If you would like, you can email me direct with your info--how many, when, what time do you prefer, etc., and I'll see if I can steer you in the right direction.
