Air France

I really wouldn't stress about it you will be fine so long as you get to the airport at the right time. Are you flying on the code share flights from Manchester? I couldn't check in online in Feb, stayed up half the night trying then was told on the phone yeah you can't check in online :lmao:

I don't understand what you mean with code srare flights?

Why couldn't you check in online? I thought you could?

Air France and Fly Be are doing code share flights from mcr airport, so for example we booked with Air France but flew with Fly Be. I couldn't book in online because of this issue but not sure if they've changed that since February but like I said it wasn't a problem we got nice seats all together.

Hi again,
Sorry but I feel physically sick and struggle to sleep worrying about check in.
I was wondering (without it sounding too weird), if someone who is using mobile/online check in, to take photos (like a step by step) so I know what to do when it comes to the time.
I thought at first, I was going to choose to have them waiting for me at the airport but I don't know what I choose and if i'll choose wrongly.
Also whats been playing on my mind, is when I read air france's rules about mobile check in, it says 1 per person but when you print it off at the airport, can you still be on someone elses boarding pass or only one each. If it doesn't make sense sorry

I know you are flying with Air France but if you look at the British Airways website (I'm sure Air France probably have the same on theirs) there is a very easy step by step guide to checking in both online and by mobile. Although why not forget about using the mobile and either print your boarding pass at home or wait until you get to the airport. You'll get the option when checking in online to collect your boarding pass at the airport (you need one of these each) either from a self-service machine or from a customer service agent. After all many people are unable/unwilling for many different reasons to use these self check-in services. We had to use help the other week with our flight to Rome as we had checked in online from our Gatwick hotel but couldn't use the airport self-service machine to print our boarding passes as we no longer had the original credit card. This wasn't a problem, we were just issued our boarding passes by the bagdrop agent, like it always used to be in the good old days. I'd guessed this would stop us using the self-service machines but didn't worry about it, I just made sure we allowed plenty of time to be dealt with by a member of staff.

As for which seats to choose - to be honest I really wouldn't worry too much on such a short flight although obviously you'll want to sit together. You've got far more chance of this if you do online check-in hence why everyone wants to do it but you may find you've already been allocated seats together when your check-in window opens.

Please please stop worrying, you'll only spoil the run up to your holiday otherwise.
