air fares for Feb 2010

Well, a bit of an update on my plans.

Both our flights have been changed a couple of times, and we've been switched from a DL flight to an NWA flight. Our flight home was originally scheduled for 7pm on Thursday the 18th. It was changed to 3pm instead. I called Delta, explained that the early departure would not work for us, and could they possibly book us on the same flight, on Friday the 19th. It took all of about 10 minutes on the phone, with a delightful Delta rep. YES, she was in India, but her English was better than mine, and her accent sounded more British than anything else. So we're booked to fly home now on the Friday, gaining a day of vacation, and actually coming home when we wanted to.

I keep in mind that we are flying at one of the busiest times of year for us here in the Northeast, I have non-stop flights, and I only paid $230 for the round trips, so it's all good. I just check our flights every couple of days, and act accordingly if any changes have happened that require me to do anything.

We were book to come home on the 2/21 early (really wanted later flight, but the airfare was much more) Since last March Co changed our flight at least 3-4 times each time I've re-booked it later & later. We are now booked on a late flight home
