Just got our accomodations figured out for March 30 - April 6, 2003.

Now we need to get going on flights? Hope there are some here that can help with this.

Do the above dates ever go on sale? This is after most school breaks and a couple of weeks before Easter so...

Also, does anyone know which airlines will issue vouchers if your flight cost falls after you book and do you have to catch it or will they just issue you the voucher?

As a note, we will be flying from Buffalo to Orlando if the sales seem to be specific to some areas.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

I think Delta issues vouchers and maybe Sounthwest too. Don't know as we don't fly them. Actually, the time you are travelling even though between the traditional Spring Break and Easter probably will be higher than say September. You need to educate yourself onwhat a good fare is from your home airport to MCO and watch flights daily and jump on the best one you see as soon as you see it.

Generally all the dates in the given time span go on sale, but on some days there may be only one or two seats on a some of the flights. Also when the sale is announced, enough seats have already been sold that the lowest fare seat quota is already filled.

And also, when you book seats for the whole family on line, if the remaining seats in the lowest fare quota are insufficient, the entire family booking occurs in the next fare tier. You may have to resort to booking family members two at a time or whatever. Experiment with this.

When I started paying attention to fare sales to WDW, I noticed that some Thanksgiving fares (for example MCO-BOS on Sunday after) the lowest fares sold out 331 days in advance and never again were found that low. I also noticed that the Sunday after there were fewer lower cost seats than Saturday after and some of the Sunday flights didn't fill up until 3 months before Thanksgiving or even later.

Bought tickets last week for this travel time. $136 plus tax out of Detroit on Delta Airlines. Fare on travelocity only. Travel saturday/saturday. By the way, I have a Boardwalk Studio available to rent for the time you mentioned.

Thnaks for the heads up on ticket price for our travel time.

Already have accomodations worked out. Everyone gets their own 2 bedroom at Orange Lake for under $400. Not bad from where I sit.
