air fare help???

We have to change our travel dates and since we booked Delta through Disney, we have to use Delta for our new flights. Any thoughts on our chances for the air fares in July to go down any in the near future? I don't think Delta has a fare notification service on their website do they?

Waiting for airfare is like playing the stock market! Sometimes you look really smart by waiting, and sometimes, well...not so smart. Sometimes the price will go up, and sometimes it will go down.

Are you a gambler? My opinion is: if you are comfortable with the price now you should book it.

another thing to think about is timing you want to go. Example for me I like to travel early in the morning so have an 8 am flight arrive in Disney by noon.When i bought for may they were sold out so I just jumped on next morning flight I could get before that got sold.

I agree with Bob P, if you like the price, BOOK IT!
In the meantime, appears Tues Wed and Sundays are cheapest.

I am so NOT a gambler. We just would be happier if the air fares would drop a tiny bit so we don't have to pay a difference on our tickets. We already purchased air fare though Disney with Delta, and because we have to change our dates we will lose $150 a ticket and then have to pay the difference once our credit is applied toward the new ticket. Right now we will have to pay more out of pocket.

I really thought we were doing the right thing booking our air for 10 people really early. Now the fares have dropped but it doesn't help us because of the ticket change penalty. I am so stressed.

Well I am a skymiles member, and maybe the way to go is not go through Disney for our Air, but directly through Delta. The Delta fares on the web would work out great for us but they are not offerred to us when Disney brings up our flight requests. I really appreciate all of the responses. I am working on this like crazy so that we can still go!
