We often take Air Canada out of Montreal and have never had anything but good experiences. I just travelled to the US and had a United connection.. wow.. the difference was night and day and not in the good way. The United flight was not a pleasant experience. Having some family members who travel quite frequently both domestic and internationally they often mention of much we take Air Canada for granted.
AC is fine. They do a lot of flights and there will always be problems.
WJ is the best though but limited. Their staff owns shares in the business and seem to really care. Funny too!
We used to fly WestJet all the time until the taxes became more than the cost of what you can fly from Detroit. One memorable moment while flying on Westjet was when the flight attendant was telling some jokes over the intercom, the pilot/copilot was turning the system off and on as a joke on the attendant. So he said that he just wanted to tell one more joke. He asks us what separates the flight attendants from the scum of the earth?
Answer. The cockpit door
When he tried to talk again the pilot/copilot started to shut off the intercom on him again. The passengers were howling. It was soooo funny.
Haven't used them from Montreal but Toronto many many times with no probs. Flying to MCO this coming Thursday with them. I like Westjet fine as well though DH hates them? Go figure..can't please everyone.
Since Dec '07 we've had 1 terrible, 1 bad and 1 really good experience with AC. Starting to feel flying with them parallels Russian Roulette We will be flying with WJ in 3 weeks. I only book direct flights and do go for the deals. I will probably use AC again at some point in the future.
The experince you get with AC depends on, no joke: The crew, the agents, the aircraft, the flight, the weather, the time of day, how busy the flight is.
