Air Canada To Service SNA

Just announced: Air Canada will start flying direct from YVR (Vancouver) to SNA (John Wayne/Orange County) starting in June. Currently Westjet is the only Canadian airline to service SNA, as AC only flew to LAX as AC (otherwise you were on a code-shared US-based airline to SNA).

They are offering some decent fares, and the times of the direct flight are competitive with what WJ schedules.

Good to see some healthy competition! I think this is good news for those of us who frequent DLR and use SNA as the airport of choice.

This is awesome to hear. The WJ flight timing is great for us connecting there, but leaves something to be desired returning. Would consider AC if the price was right and the schedule worked well for us.
