at the border? I thought you had to have an in-person test done, not just a 'home kit'. But if this is accepted, then that's definitely a better way to go than to try hunting down a place to get it done in Orlando (or somewhere along the I-90!)

So, how does it work? You have to have wifi (or lots of data, I assume) and they just watch you do the test? Then what?

I believe there are a few posts of people using them. I haven't but from what i understand you video call (so yes you need wifi or data) and are connected to a nurse who watches you do the test and then you scan the test when it's done, send a picture or something, and they email you a sheet with your results. I'm sure someone else can provide more details.

I would assume it’s identical to the home PCR tests. There is a QR code sticker in the box that you must affix to the test, you connect via video chat and the nurse confirms the QR code, walks you through the test steps, then you upload a photo of your test once it’s done. The photo is verified and they issue a formal result that is uploaded to your account to print or download. It was super easy! But you do need a mobile device and a good internet connection.

We used the antigen tests to come here (currently in wdw). We used the Lamp ones for our trip home. You just need to be connected to wifi. It was very easy and convenient

Standard shipping: shipped within 24 hours, and delivery via Purolator Ground... Within Ontario... 3 days
You sign-up for the telehealth portal, and everything is done through the portal: registering the kit, taking the test, submitting picture of test result. You will get reminders on your phone to submit the picture of your test results
By default, the two-step verification process for the telehealth portal will send a text messages pin to login... You can request that this is sent via e-mail as well
Once test results are submitted, you get the certificate in 15-30 minutes
Regular antigen test, with the main difference being that you need to affix a QR code on a specific location on the testing unit.

I was able to conduct the telehealth session while at sea on the Disney Fantasy... it did eat some data... but not as bad as I thought and the connection was quite stable (and most of us know that DCL does not have the best wifi out there)

I just purchased the Switch Health rapid antigen tests for our return to Canada. I created my ASMO account but am wondering about my husband. Do I need to create a separate account for him? Or do I add him to my account? If so, how?

It was a little confusing to me as when it asked to add dependants, it showed an image of a baby carriage. It was quite easy to add my wife as a dependant after I had already chosen no dependants by logging back into my account

Thank you so much! I feel better knowing that is done and is was so easy to do. :)

Did you have to book an appointment to do this test or do you just go to the website and someone "answers"?

You don’t need an appointment. We did wait about 20 mins for someone to answer but I think they were pretty busy when we did ours.
