Hello! Welcome to my February 2013 pre trip report!
With just (at the time of this post) 7 months and 9 days to go, I was itching to start a pre trip report. Bit crazy but then we've already ordered our Disney and Universal tickets!
The title is because I convinced myself (for the second year running) that this trip I WILL go on Space and Splash Mountain. Hopefully also Big Thunder Mountain Railroad if it's open and running!
Last time we visited, none of us were very well and we ended up waiting outside the restroom for me a LOT.
We didn't feel like eating anything (but we all loved Sweet Tomatoes!) and generally had a bad time. As soon as I got back though I became Disney CRAZY. I wore all my t-shirts a lot, joined this forum and generally pined to go back.
I told my mum that I really wanted to go back and she did too and searched for flights with Virgin Atlantic. Lo and behold, £460 flights to Orlando!
It's like they wanted us to return. After some debating on what to do we eventually settled on our condo for 10 nights from February 10th to the 20th including 1 night in a Disney hotel.
We nearly ended up staying at a Disney moderate for 5 nights, except for the ticket choice over here was unsuitable so now just one night at a value. Well, at £65 it would be rude not to!
So, who's going?
My mum: Craft fan, Disney fan and the voice of authority. Has to make the traditional first morning trip to Walmart and will not eat onions/garlic.
My dad: News 13 addict (nearly every time the TV was on in our condo it was that channel.), Skype addict and always has two phones on the go. If there's any news pertaining to Florida he'll probably tell us about it. Apparently too cool for the characters.
And of course, ME! Disney crazy, video game crazy and Sprite/7-up obsessed. Will do roller coasters only if they have no inversions. Really really wants to give Eeyore a huge hug because he's so cuddly and adorable.
Has never tried a Mickey ice cream bar!
So, I hope you enjoyed (if you read all that!) my pre trip report. I haven't been on the DIS long so probably not a lot of people will read this but oh well. Hopefully I'll actually finish this trip report!
