Ahoy November 12th, 2009 Cruisers!!

I always wondered how renting DVC points worked. DVC itself was something we knew was not an option for us -boy I sure wish it was!
That Hyatt deal sounds great too-wow!

We had thought about buying and just using the extra points as rentals to help pay for it... but in the past year, there got to be so, so many rentals and some people are even selling their points for as low as $8 a point(not for BLT but for many of the other resorts) There are alot of people who are doing just that, buying and then just renting all their points. We loved our stays in the Contemporary(surprisingly as the first year I stayed at the Poly and only stayed at the Cont the second year as I got a wing room that was much cheaper). So hopefully our rental will go as smoothly as last year, I don't forsee any issues.

Add me to the FE. My friend is going to lend me hers. I think I can handle one more detail to remember.

OMG! DH will be beside himself with happiness!!!!! He loves space stuff!
There was a shuttle launch scheduled for our last cruise in Feb that was supposed to happen as we would have been pulling into port Sunday morning. He was SO psyched! But the launch was scrubbed for some reason. Thanx a bunch for that Wendy!

Thanx for the scoop on the DVC points, Scootch. I usually stay at Port Orleans Riverside when I go to WDW - I LOVE it there- but it is not as economical as it used to be and I really would like to be closer.

I don't know if I ever mentioned it or not but for FE purposes, my DS 16 is not cruising with us. He is staying home with my FIL. We are also on Deck 2 right by the midship elevators. It is a great spot for no motion sickness. I am glad somone mentioned the 7th deck forward. I'm toying with the idea of upgrading at the port and if I got that I would have to decline. would ruin my fun for sure!

Hey Sue, Harmony and Wendy...were you guys by any chance on the four day Feb 8th cruise? We were sitting near three women on CC that were having a Blast to say the least. I had met their husbands at Signals and at Diversions. Just wondering if that was your crew?

nope, not us. We were there Feb 22nd. Not to say we didn't have a blast...lol.
Just think, at this rate, this group is going to be bigger, louder and having even more fun!

It says one per email. I already got my flights ... i can put in for it and get a voucher too. My guess is you will have to book all the flights separately, but that shouldn't be a problem.I found it on the Transportation forum or the Budget one here on disboards, not sure which...... I just got one, will pm you with it. My dd has an email account if you want me to get any more, I can use her address......
