We loved:

Early morning sunrises....no one is around
Till we Meet Again....loved all the characters together
pigging out on Mickey bars from room service out on our verandah

Not to miss:

seafood buffet
missed photo ops from Shutters....with the cool backgrounds
the ship pulling out of Port Canaveral
and we definitely want to explore more of Castaway Cay

Favorite things:
earlly morning sunrises- and I am SO NOT and early riser -but they are unbelievably beautiful and I find myself waking up early to see them
dessert tables-any of them
CASTAWAY CAY
long, slow walks all the way around the ship noticing every excellent detail
watching DS having a blast
hanging out with DH and new friends

Not to miss next time:

vegatable car races-we slept thru them! DS has still not forgiven us!
snorkeling on CC
food at Pirate Party-we never saw it! too busy having fun and too tired to fight the crowd to get to the other side
finding the "secret" deck 7 observation deck
more spa time!
I've never seen 'Til We Meet Again- but I might sob thru the whole thing!

Hi all. I feel like I am interrupting a private conversation but I have a question. We have been on the 7 and 4 day cruises, but never the 3 day. I am taking advantage of the $99 dollar offer and bringing my sisters and mom along this time instead of my husband and kids. I am looking forward to be an 'adult' on the cruise this time around.

But I wanted to confirm they they do have pirate night on the 3 day cruise. Is that the case? Seeing the fireworks off the ship is one of the best parts of the cruise!

I will join in the not-to-miss fun. Someone in another board mentioned going to the 4th deck when the princesses are outside Titans and watches the kids from above. I could have sat there for hours - it brought tears to my eyes. There is nothing like that pure joy of a little girl seeing her princess. My 'baby' is 13 now and it just brings back such great memories!!

nkoelr - thanks for joining us!! No, it's not a private conversation. We welcome one and all. The more the merrier is what we say!!!! There is a pirate party on the three day cruise. If you are like me you will miss the pirate menu in the restaurant before the buffet. On a 3 nite you use the regular menus all 3 nites because you don't have that extra night to fill. Personally the pirate night is my favorite menu.

Welcome Nkoelr! I know just how you feel watching the little Princesses! I only have boys but I tear up watching the little girls every time! Especially when they see the Princesses in the matching dresses and they are so excited when they compare them. It is SO cute!!!
Just another reason why I think being Snow White would be the coolest job ever!

DS would spend whole cruise in the Lab!

What we missed last time:
pirate buffet
adult beach & its food at CC
spa
TIME WITHOUT THE KIDS!!! We went to the adult pool once and that was about it for our alone time.

What we won't do this time:
commit to buying 10 photos at Shutters. We ran all over the place trying to get 10 of the most awesome pics known to man!! We spent a lot of time and energy trying to get enough we wanted to buy. Well now we have some so we will only do a couple of character pics.

I just found incredible Disney pics and others on the pic of the day thread. This lady's photos are a must see. I made it to page 25 on her Flickr album. I thought we'd be able to bring my sister along on our cruise in November with the Bounce Back deal, but I guess the offer is only good on the original number of people on the first reservation. So we can't take her.

I wish there was some way around this! You'd think DCL would WANT her money! She's willing to give it to them!

Nope, they won't allow me to pay for an upgrade. And no, DH & DS are coming again, so I guess that is all that is allowed under our ressie.

I really wanted her to come along because she was in Spain last summer when I had my surgery and we were hoping to have a little "family" time together. Oh she can still come, she just has to pay $1000 for her own cabin!

Harmony, I am so sorry that your sister can't come with you. They told me the same thing about adding my mom. Mom said that was quite "unmagiacal" of them.

Thanks for the offer on the FE exchange but I am still undecided. My husband, kids and I participated in it for the first time on our 7-night cruise in March and had a blast with it. I loved coming back to the room to see what was left there and I had fun exploring the ship going to drop off our gifts.

However, this time around I will be cruising with my 4 sisters and my Mom so I am undecided whether I want to 'plan' to do anything or just 'do'. Do you have a cut-off date on when I can still join? Right now I am so overwelmed with end-of-school activities and such that it is hard to think about organizing another thing!!

Nope, there is no cut-off date. On our last cruise we had people popping up the week before we left! The way I see it, whomever wants to be part of the fun can join right in at any time.
