Ahoy November 12th, 2009 Cruisers!!

Busy packing here... even bought Bonine today!! Are the evening cool? We are going to WDW afterwards and I have warm and cold clothes.... gathering it is windy and bit cool in the evenings on the ship or am I wrong about that??? NEver been gone 8 nights before!! and NOW you have to pay for luggage. Going to try to just take three bags.... pay for 2 and 1 carry on(along with our usual backpacks).... thankfully flying home southwest and will check all three in and not have to deal with them.

Ours just showed up too! DH just brought the suitcases upstairs last night so I could start filling them. LOL Not sure how many pieces I actually want to bring with me though...hoping to use 1 suitcase for the boys and maybe DD if everything will fit into one suitcase for them.

You guys must be master packers! It's going to be just DH and I and we have 3 suitcases...1 lrg...1 sm...1 rolling duffle. I don't see how you guys do it...always amazes me.

DD17 and I are back from my mini-trip to WDW this past Weds - Sunday. Experienced some weird weather. First couple days were hot and very humid and the last couple days were chilly and windy. It dropped from highs in the 90's to highs in the 60's! Hoping for some great weather in November!

We did MNSSHP. It was fairly crowded. DD17 left her bag of candy on Buzz Lightyear with about 1/2 hour to go for the party. She realized it as soon as we got outside and we went right back, but no candy. So, we got her a new candy bag and hit some of the candy stands a second time. Also went to the F&W Festival at Epcot.

We got home last night and I worked all day today, so I haven't even unpacked and now I need to start thinking about packing again. I think the cosmetic-type stuff can just stay packed and I will just need to figure out clothes and get those packed. I have no idea yet what to take. I did pick up some FE gifts while in WDW, so excited about that. Now, I need to locate my FE.

I hope that shuttle goes on time for two reasons. First, it would be wonderful to see and experience and second, that would mean the weather is nice or it wouldn't be going.

Sounds like we have a pretty good sized group! I'll need to see if I have any lime green Mickey heads around here; otherwise I need to hit Home Depot. I better start a list... FE, LG Mickey heads....

Don't want to be the bearer of bad news but I went on to the NASA site today to check out ticket prices for KSC and noticed that the launch has been moved to the 16th Doesn't look like we will be seeing the launch after all. Would anyone be interested in an UNOFFICIAL Dis Meet in one of the clubs for drinks after dinner and the show?

On our last cruise I organized this for the evening after we had spent all day at Castaway Cay, and I was so sunburned and exhausted that I never made it.

I was thinking of maybe saying we all can meet at WaveBands or Cadillac Lounge the first night at 10:00. What do you think?

Love all the pics that have been posted. I am getting SO excited!!!! Today I started packing toiletries and my swimsuit. I have to say it was fun. DD is sure I am crazy but I know you guys understand. I have spent quite a bit of time playing on the DIS today..... Can't wait to start designing magnets. I must have hundreds of graphics to choose from.
No Mickey mail here yet. I keep checking for an upgrade but that's okay. We got on deck 6 so we are happy. Here's to another WONDERful day marked off the calendar!

No it's not current. I was going to send out the updated list (with current room) numbers today. I was waiting on Robin to confirm her new room number which she did last night (she was checking w/her TA to make sure the number was correct). I will have it out in a few minutes.

No Mickey Mail here, however ours historically doesn't show up until about 2 weeks out.
DH will be so bummed about the shuttle launch!
Tomorrow is my last day of class, after that I am full steam ahead on trip craziness
If we can convice DS to be in the kids club we'd love to be in Wavebands. Match Your Mate is hysterical!
