Ahhh...New Sheets

I bought a bed in a bag set at Wal*Mart last year when we upgraded from a full to a queen size bed. I love the comforter - the Middlebury because it hides the pet hair, but the sheets that were included are 200 TC 60% cotton/40% polyester. They're not very soft and they barely fit the depth of the pillow top mattress. I have to make an adjustment every night before I climb in to bed.

I finally had enough and went to Boscov's because they were having some pretty good sales in Domestics for their January White Sale. I've been checking out the selection for at least a week and couldn't decide on a color - mostly they have white, beige, lt. blue and sage and none really match the comforter/shams and dust ruffle. There is a dobby stripe set in burgundy, but even at 300 TC they didn't feel as soft as I thought they should. I finally settled on a beige 250 TC 100% cotton sheet set, on sale for $24.97. They are so soft, almost like flannel. I can't wait to go to sleep on them!

OOooooOOO I love new sheets - and clean sheets and ironed sheets ---- and and sheets that were hung on the line to dry...

too bad it only lasts a couple nights and then I have to change them .... but then I get all excited about my --- new sheets, clean sheets, ironed sheets, or ones that were hung on the line to dry...

ironed???? what exactly does this do to a sheet? Do you just do the top or the fitted? totally confused now!

I wont think about my sheets till tomorrow- couch sleepin this weekend

Now I have just ironed the tops, but if I have time and am feeling indulgent I iron the top and the fitted -- but it just stiffens them a bit and smooths them - I feel like I just glide around in bed

Now I don't do it to the girls sheets and it doesn't happen to mine all the time

So don't go thinking I am a freak or anything

Love hight thread count sheets! We have a set of 600 thread count sheets that are amazing! We also have a couple of 400 thread count. We got 2 sets from www.linensource.com and another from JC Penney. Note the JCP were way cheaper. Gotta love good sheets.

My DD13 just put on brand new flannel sheets that she got for Christmas.... How many teenagers do you know who would like sheets for Christmas!!!

Of course, they're covered with horses all over them, so she is very happy with them and loved getting them as a gift!

I LOVE my flannel sheets!! As a matter of fact....I keep them on year 'round. I had snowmen on my sheets during the summer. I did however get two NEW sets of flannels this christmas so I have don't have to take them off, make sure they are clean and dry before it's time for bed again!

All my kids ask for new sheets, especially good qualities flannel sheets. I bought my dd $17 Flannel sheets that were originally $60 on Black Friday.

After winter they like the Jersey Sheets, then in summer, they switch to regular sheets.

Nothing is worse than buying sheets for a bargain and end up itching all night. I have already woken my husband up put new sheets on one night, when our new sheets were making me itch.

I got a bed in bag for Christmas and the sheets are regular queen not deep pocket queen sheets, but I got a set of new 300 TC sheets then as well and they are so soft. I plan on putting the new set up on my bed tonight.
