 What a great thread!!!!

Do you remember, Galaxy Counters, Cadburys Cream Bears, Cheese and Tomato puffs (they turned your fingers bright orange, before they took out the e-numbers!) :rotfl: Fizzie Lizzies, Bar Six and as for toys, do you remember Girls World? (a model head that came with hair rollers and cheap and nasty make up) :Pinkbounc I'm on a roll now! :cloud9:

Girls World was a very cool toy to have!! Lots of blue eyeshadow.....classy or what!! :rotfl:
I loved Galaxy Counters.........I wish you could still get them - and not just in a a bag of Revels! :)

Mandy - Tiswas was great, but my mum preferred us watching Saturday Swap Shop - she didn't think it suitable viewing!

Well i don't remember much from the 70's but as for the 80's, Button moon,
Chocablock, POB, My little ponys (there now back), GEM, Wander Women, The A team, knight Rider, Howards way, Minder.

As for sweets/ Choc. Snickers were called Marathons, Mint Pyramids, Wham bars, Star burst were Opal fruits. Milky ways were alot bigger. Booty bags. Jaw breakers.

All my life I've been after a car like KITT from Knight Rider, David Hasslehoff wasn't too bad (well back then anyway :rotfl2: )

I had a Texan at the weekend!!

There are some very attractive photos of me as a youngun with classy flares and "bowl" haircut... in fact I think my mum used to cut it from under a bowl :teeth:

Miffy2003:'I had a Texan at the weekend!!'

Did you really, was he nice and did he have a big hat??!!!!

Sorry, couldn't resist that one! I've had a very strange day, and all this talk of tupperware and childhood sweets full of sugar and e numbers has tipped me over the edge!.

By the way, I always had minging spangles left at xmas from selection boxes. And at Easter, who the hell bought Caramac eggs for me??!!! Why???? :rotfl2:

bananasplits_02.jpg

Fleagle, Bingo, Drooper and Snork

Aw, Scottish Maleficent! I love that picture!! And tell me, did they go through the round window??
What about HR Puff NStuff with that weird magic flute!! And does anyone remember there was a very old black and white Robinson Crusoe with wonderful music at the start and another french (?) black and white of two kids with horses and the theme music was haunting (something to do with white horses??)

:Pinkbounc I remember the Banana Splits!!, Does anyone remember, tv progs~Magpie, Jackanory and The Midnight Garden?

Cartoons,

Pixie and Dixie, Top Cat, Barbapapa, Josie and the Pussycats, Grape Ape and The Hair Bear Bunch?

OMG I havn't thought of these things for years!

Audrey :Pinkbounc

How about 'Jamie and the magic torch' I LOVED that show! and his dog, still think Wordsworth is a cool name for a dog

Wow, all these programmes are really taking me back, back in the days when only 'Rich' people went to Florida

Do you also remember ...

hkp01.jpg

Hong Kong Phooey, No. 1 Super Guy (who used to come flying out of his filing cupboard :rotfl: :rotfl: )

OMG! Mandy I loved him too, guess I never got out much as a kid! and also agree with the 'only rich people went to Florida' how strange, even when I was in senior school hardly any of my friends ever went abroad for their hols, probably mainly 'cos being down in the westcountry it would have meant a long drive and lots of complications to get anywhere, but it was so unusual, now my son knows he goes away 3 or 4 times a year and thinks nothing of it

DH still likes Hong Kong Phoey to this day LOL

Anyone remember Trap Door? With Drutt, Boney and all sorts of plasticine antics :teeth:

What about Steve Austin The Six Million Dollar Man (bionic eye and leg) and Jaime Summers the Bionic Woman (bionic ear and arm). Remember that mad sound effect when they were using their special powers.......:rotfl:

My brother and I had the dolls.........obviously I had Bionic Woman and he had Steve Austin.;) I remember you could open their bionic arm and leg and see all the 'bionics' inside!! Dead cool!!
