my boyfriend and i plan to go to disney world on 10-4 to 10-11. we wanna get there a day before we run the tot 10-miler (10-5) and until 10-11 so we get to catch edwin mccain! anyway, he got a pin for free dining but that only applies if we go earlier (10-2,) and i don't really want to go earlier nor can we spring for 10-2 to 10-11!!!

i double checked with disney reservation and she said if there is an offer, it will come out 45 to 60 days before. i know we have to pay for the whole trip 45 days before our scheduled reservation. SO, if we booked and paid in full already then if an offer comes out... she assures me that the offer will still apply but there will be a $50 charge. that's not so bad.

anyway, i guess what i'm asking is should i just book now to reserve the room i want? flights should be cheaper for october right now, right? sorry people, i just need someone to tell me it's better to book now!!! i mean deal or no deal, we still wanna go those dates... so it's a moot point. i just want someone to say it's ok to book now!!! help? my boyfriend is all do whatever, it will all work out in the end.

I would book now to get a room at the resort you want. Disney is really good about refunding money if a deal comes up and you are paid in full

I went ahead and booked for November, hoping for free dining, I added dining to reservation, and have paid amount due minus cost of dining plan. If free dining or % off comes out before due date that amount will be remove from my balance then I will pay difference. So to answer your question Yes book now to make sure you can get room at resort of your choice with special offer.

We are going in Oct as well. My DH went ahead and booked a couple of days ago. The rep told him that they might have discounts available by Sometime in July so we are crossing our fingers.
