Ah the joys of working on a holiday!

Our corp. office is officially closed today, but I needed to catch up on some projects and will receive a comp day since I'm working a holiday. There is a total of 2 people (including myself) in the office. This person's office is at the other end of the building so I've only seen him once this morning!

For once in four years I can actually work without hearing: gripping, complaining, bickering, and personal phone calls! No questions, clueless owners needing info. they already have asap again! I can actually work with my office door open and hear silence! Ahhh!

Isn't it great? I work for the school district, but have to work summers. It's so wonderful to be in the schools without the kids running me down and the teachers stopping me in the halls. I get so much more done when I can actually keep a single thought for a half a second.
