it's official piratesmate.... you are now also an "official shopping enabler". (and if I could tag you with that, I would) :) You just had to mention where you got castle charms... $10 later I too now have castle charms, cruise ship charms, a bunch of st. patrick's day stuff (eyelets, paper, stickers) and who knows what else. (fiber comes to mind as well as stuff that will be useful for my stitch squares in that disney swap). So, it's all your fault this time (and not patty t's for once :) ) Congrats on joining the enabler club. maggie

:rotfl: Maggie: I'm with you on that one too! It's not enought that she tells us about the shopping, she provides the "LINK" as well. You can possibly resist a link to a place called "bargain"

I too ended up ordering cause you can't beat their shipping costs!

WOW! You girls are like a AA meeting. Hi my name is Kathy and I'm addicted to "Scrapbook supplies"
Imagine if we completed a two page layout everytime we "shopped"
I'd have twelve albums completed by now :rotfl2:

Hello, I'm Jessica and I too am addicted to Scrapbook supplies! I have at least 4 empty scrapbooks, too many pages of papers, stickers, pens, etc.!!!

Man that would make a great t=shirt.

Gee, thanks Ladies! :teeth: I figured turn-about was fair play. You've all shared ideas & elements you use that have me Googling for a place to buy stuff. ;) Hey, you know what? I never had as much success with other search engines as I do with Google....so it's all Dan Murphy's fault! ::yes:: He's the one that got me Googling everything! :teeth:

Great idea, Cyndi! I vote we ask DISshopkeeper to make some for us! ;)

I must confess, I couldn't resist either! I can't wait for my goodies to arrive.

Just an FYI about the Bargain Pack site...Today I got an email telling me that one of the items I ordered was not in stock & they had credited my CC the money. I was very impressed!

Usually, I don't know until I get the stuff & something is missing. I hate that because a lot of times I could have ordered it somewhere else if I'd known.

I can't wait until my stuff comes! :hyper:

Please tell me it wasn't the castle charms they were out of, I just order 145 of them for the swap :Pinkbounc

Sorry - I should have thought about you! No, it was the orange button-ups. I'd ordered some from another site a couple weeks ago, but they didn't show up when the order arrived. I guess I should have expected it. :confused3

I just showed DD the bargainpack.com website this morning, and she loved all that stuff! "Oooooh, that's all so cuuuute!" (She gets it from me ;) ). I guess we'll be placing another order. She's been scrapping for her football player (cheerleader must-do), and now she wants to do some for herself. That's probably NOT a good website to show a teenage girl who loves all that "cuuuute" stuff! Danger, danger Will Robinson!!! :teeth:

Good morning!

Just wanted to give this a bump, and say that I got e-mails this morning with the tracking #'s for my order and also notice of a credit issued to me due to an item that was sold out. I figure I'll probably get my order next week sometime. In the meantime, the link was given to go to the site to check out new stuff. I've got to restrain myself.........

Hmmm....I haven't gotten anything saying my order has been shipped, tracking #s, whatever....and I placed my order before you did. I wonder what's up! I was really hoping to see the stuff soon. :hyper:

BTW - I refuse to place another order this month, but I'm soooo frustrated! My stuff from JoAnn's came yesterday, including the eyelet storage containers I ordered. (This was the 3rd place I'd ordered them from - the other places were sold out.) I wasn't paying attention to the size & only ordered 1 set. The ones I'd ordered previously were larger & 1 set would have been sufficient for all that I've ordered....well except for the 200 alpha bradlets.

Anyway, I put all the eyelets I have into the containers (well, at least I tried to!) & of course they don't all fit! :( I was so hoping that I'd be able to remove all those enveloped & bags from my drawers. And of course, I've got more eyelets coming from BargainPack. :rotfl:

Did you get the e-mail about your payment being received? That's the one I'm talking about. It has the tracking number for the shipment included with that e-mail.

You're right, you did order before me---several days if I remember correctly. I'd send them a note and find out what's up.

As far as storage goes, I still think the tacklebox (soft-sided) that I found at Wal Mart is the best deal going. It had 8 of those storage boxes included inside the bag. They're a very nice size---about 14" X 8 1/2" , and almost 2" deep. Each box is divided up into 24 slots, but you can remove the dividers to make each slot larger. Similar boxes were for sale for $5.97 each. Since I paid $38.XX for the bag with the boxes, it's almost like I got a really nice bag for free!

Well, I got a receipt of payment on the 2nd, but it didn't have a tracking number in it. Since that was the day I ordered, I didn't expect to see it there.

I didn't get the notice about something being out of stock until the 8th. I assumed that they shipped it about then. I did send an email this morning after reading your post, but haven't heard anything yet.

That tacklebox sounds pretty neat. However, I don't think DH would appreciate having it in the living room. (Never mind that I doubt he'd appreciate me spending the $$ right now.) ;) The half of the farm house we live in isn't all that large. Besides our bedrooms, we have a dining room (~14x20) & living room (~10x20) with a large open doorway between them. The dining room has a "nook" table on one side & DD's computer (used to be the family one) and piano on the other.

The living room has the TV, sofa & chairs at one end & at the other end are a couple bookcases, the small cabinet I have my scrapping stuff in & my desk/computer/scanner. DH is already complaining because I've had the card table up for over a month working on swap stuff. ;)

I know....my kids were trying to find the table in my breakfast nook the other day....it's covered with swap stuff too! ;) When I realized there was nowhere to eat at the table, I just told the kids to take a tray in the den and eat there....that went over for a day or two, but I'm trying to get all my stuff upstairs now. As soon as tests are over today (nine-weeks test time here), I'm getting my DS to help me put together my wire cubes like the pic posted of the storage for paper. He's been using the "gotta study" excuse all this week. Imagine that!!

When you said you lived in a farm house, the first thing that came to mind are all those pics of beautiful rooms in Country Living magazine that I covet so much! I love the looks they show in Country Living, and I've been doing my best to recreate them here in my 60's two-story---just not with the same results. Sorry there's not much room for storage there.

Anyway, I'll send you a couple of my boxes if you want them. I doubt I'll ever actually NEED 8 boxes. It might even keep me from buying too much stuff if I don't have the place to put it. LOL!!! Someone somewhere said something about using empty Tic-Tac containers for storing eyelets, so I've started saving those too. Dollar Tree also has those weekly med boxes and they might work for storage.

Hope you hear something today. I know it's frustrating not knowing, and I agree, I'm a little antsy waiting on my things to arrive. Can't wait to have new toys to play with. ;)

hmmm, I know I was charged for my order from the bargain bin (or whatever it's called) cause it showed up on quicken. Haven't gotten any emails though. Hopefully the stuff will show up this week... (and it better have castle charms in it :) ) maggie

Just updating this...I received my package today....with the castle charms! They were a bit bigger than I'd imagined (I'm terrible at estimating sizes IRL from just measurements) but they are so darned cute! :teeth:

I was so excited about the giraffes & zebras for my AKL pages, and they're really nice. However, if you've ever stayed at Wilderness Lodge you really need to consider getting some of those bears! OMG! :earseek: I can't stand it they're so cute! :hyper: I can't wait to put them on my tags! (Once DDIL either comes over or cuts them for me! ;))

I hope your stuff arrives soon! :teeth:

:rotfl2: ....after seeing the links and going to the sites, I found things on all three, BarginPack, Eyelet Outlet, Eyelet Queen. So I have been sneaking packages into my house all week. (even bought the silent setter so there won't be "new" noises coming from my scrap area :rotfl: ) When my DH asks where all of my eyelets came from, I can tell him that I had them forever :confused3 I can't wait to use them on my AKL pages, the zebras and giraffes are sooooooo cute!!! I have only used the Mickey eyelets from the park.........but I think I found a new obsession!!! :grouphug:
